July 20, 2022: LELS and MPPOA have partnered in preparing a “Position Statement” to the MN POST Board on the proposed amendments to Chapter 6700 of the Minnesota Rules.  If adopted, the proposed changes would have a significant and detrimental impact on ALL licensed peace officers in the State of Minnesota.  Below you will find a 21-page response that describes all of the issues in detail and a request to have a formal hearing prior to the changes taking effect.  This document was prepared by LELS General Counsel Mark Schneider and MPPOA’s legal representative Attorney Gary Luloff of Chestnut Cambronne PA.
